World of Tanks FV4005 Stage II - 7 Kills 11,7K Damage

The FV4005 Stage II is a British tier 10 turreted tank destroyer.

This tank destroyer project was developed on the basis of the Centurion Mk3 tank in the early 1950s. The vehicle was initially tested with a mechanized ammo rack. However, the ammo rack did not fit the turret, and it was canceled. One prototype was manufactured and underwent trials, but the vehicle never entered mass production.

Sometimes known as "Sh*tbarn" or "Doombarn", the FV4005 Stage II is the more mobile tier X British TD compared to both the FV217 Badger and the FV215b (183). It has terrible armor and a very large paper-thin turret. At this point one might ask why would anyone get this over the now-replaced FV215b (183) or the FV217 Badger. It can be the deadliest support tank in the game, as it is armed with the same 183mm gun as the FV215b (183) but with better aiming time. Either popping out and shooting heavies while they are reloading or giving heavy fire support to a pack of protecting mediums are the best ways to play this tank. It is a lot less forgiving than the FV215b (183), so you will have to focus more. You will need to keep an eye on the mini-map at all times, if a flank is failing go and lend your massive 183mm gun. If your timing is right you can turn the game around.

The FV4005 Stage II marks the end of its British tank destroyer line.

World of Tanks E100 - 6 Kills 10K Damage

The E 100 is a German tier 10 heavy tank.

In June 1943, the Adlerwerke company received an order for development of the E 100. However, in 1944, heavy tank development was discontinued. By the end of the war, only the chassis was completed, which was later captured by the British Army.

The last tank of the Entwicklung series, the E-100 is a fearsome opponent on the battlefield. While it is not a Maus by any stretch of the imagination, this tank does share a similar play-style with it while maintaining a bit more flexibility over it's colossal counterpart. The massive armor of the E-100 is comparable but not identical to that of the Maus. While boasting excellent thickness on all sides, it is significantly more vulnerable to incoming fire due to several large weak spots. First and foremost, the lower glacis plate is enormous and wide, making angling this tank an absolute must. However, even when angled properly, the lower plate is still susceptible to penetration and will succumb to a surprising amount of unblocked damage. Despite this, the E-100 enjoys a much better angled side armor with spaced skirts which can deflect shots with far greater efficiency than the flat side armor of the Maus. The turret on the E-100 is very tall and only slightly angled making it an easy target. Though it sports very thick frontal armor, the inadequate sloping will permit several well placed shots to punch through. In addition, the significantly large turret ring and the top bar are also prevalent weak points. Angling your armor is, once again, a must.

The starting main gun of the E-100 is the same 12,8cm gun which is used by the Maus, but the E-100 has the option of upgrading to the 15cm KwK L/38 cannon which trades the default gun's accuracy and rate of fire for a significantly increased alpha damage output. The long reload of both guns means that your defensive game needs to be strong due to your main role being that of a close to medium range brawler and, as such, will require effective usage of your armor. In addition, you will absolutely require your teammates aid when engaging multiple vehicles, because should your enemy decide to press your flanks, there's little that can be done to protect yourself from being encircled and mercilessly slaughtered. And although the E-100 does boast improved speed and maneuverability, artillery will still have a field day with you if you are not privy to your surroundings and your cover. Overall, the E-100 should be played much more aggressively than the Maus due to it's many marked differences and should not only act as a shield for its more vulnerable teammates but as a dealer of significant damage in return. Basically, the player is advised to take the hits but to return them in kind as well. Play this tank to it's strengths and the enemy team will have a very hard time stopping your advance as you confidently lead the assault to break through their defenses and head forth to victory.

World of Tanks Type 5 Heavy - 8 Kills 10,4K Damage

The Type 5 Heavy is a Japanese tier 10 heavy tank.

The Type 5, also known as the Type 2605, was one of the variants of the O-I superheavy tank, developed during WWII. The vehicle was planned to be used for breaking through fortified enemy lines and for coastal defense.

Sometimes known as "Godzilla" the Type 5 Heavy is the final evolution of Japanese Super-Heavies. Its just massive as it seems: it has the second highest HP after Maus (2900), is even bigger, and has the thickest frontal armor of all heavy tanks in the game. Like all other Japanese heavies starting at tier 6, Type 5 Heavy has the "choice" of a 'traditional' gun or a howitzer that is able to crush everything in your path.

Unlike Type 4 Heavy, the Type 5 has armor that works. It will generally bounce stuff even if you don't mean to. Improvements include "frontal weakspots", and thicker side armor, that will allows you to laugh in the face of most tanks if you're at just a slight angle. It offers a massively improved survivability over the Type 4, and is a much more pleasant tank to play.

The Type 5 Heavy is rightfully considered a hard tank to beat, excelling at "reliably" damage dealer with every shot while also bouncing a few in return. It definitely deserves it status and most of the bad words attributed to it. Like other Japanese heavies, Type 5 Heavy is huge and slow, but still quick enough to get around. No real trades made for the gun and armor combination. Of course, like most superheavies it's "weak when surrounded", even more so because the damage output over time is limited. That doesn't matter when you hug a corner and peek when you're reloaded, of course, which is how 99% of games play out.

World of Tanks Object 416 - 2 Kills 7,5K Damage

The Object 416 is a Soviet tier 8 medium tank.

The development of the Object 416 started at the Construction Bureau of Factory No. 75 in the fall of 1949. The blueprint was developed by March 1950. Due to technical problems with the turret, a working prototype was not ready until April 1952. Improvements were made, and another prototype was built in the summer of 1953, but the vehicle never entered mass production.

The Object 416 leads to the Object 430 Version II.

World of Tanks Löwe - 5 Kills 6,7K Damage

The Löwe is a German tier 8 premium heavy tank.

Development of this 70-ton super-heavy tank started on November 1, 1941. In February 1942, the Krupp company suggested the VK 70.01 avant project, later designated the Löwe ("Lion"). Several designs varying in configuration, armament, and armor, were drafted. However, the project was canceled after the Führer made the decision to develop even heavier tanks. No prototypes were ever built.

Designed for sniping, the Löwe is armed with the very accurate 10.5 cm KwK L/70, and is paired with a rather decent hull. The turret however is heavily sloped allowing it to bounce even high tier guns . The performance of this tank is quite good for its tier, provided that it does not engage in close quarter combat, which is almost certain death for this tank. It has poor acceleration, so any reversal in direction will take some time. As a premium tank, it produces a significantly higher credit income than a typical tier 8 tank. The Löwe was added in the 0.6.4. patch, along with the KV-5 heavy tank.

World of Tanks IS-7 - 5 Kills 10,2K Damage

The IS-7 is a Soviet tier 10 heavy tank.

Development of the IS-7 started in the spring of 1945. Prototypes successfully underwent trials in 1946 and 1947. However, the IS-7 never saw mass production.

With its well angled "pike-nose" frontal armor layout and a rounded, highly sloped turret front, the IS-7 is one of the toughest nuts to crack when engaged from the front. If positioned behind a piece of cover which shields its lower glacis plate, it becomes a hardened object with so few weak points that successfully damaging the tank turns into a most frustrating experience. Therein lies a weakness, however - the IS-7 cannot angle its armor, because if it does, the sloping of the frontal plate will become significantly worsened and enable most guns to punch through with relative ease. The side armor of the tank is comprised of spaced plates which are not only small but angled as well, making even perfectly landed shots to the hull's midsection fail to do any sort of damage at times. The rear armor is quite thin, however, and will rarely deflect even lower tier guns. The IS-7 mounts a very potent 130mm S-70 naval cannon as the main gun. While it's potentially high damage output can seem quite formidable, the gun itself is largely inaccurate, has a rather long aiming time, takes a while to load, and is actually much less effective than it seems. Nevertheless, at close and medium ranges the gun can still inflict very serious damage. Sustainability of said damage is difficult, though, due to the aforementioned long reload and aim times.

When compared to its Soviets counterparts, the IS-4, the Object 277 and Object 705A, the IS-7 plays like a middle gap between the IS-4 and Object 277. Despite being hampered by its poor terrain resistance values, the tank is nonetheless mobile enough to keep up with the team and change position if absolutely needed. And due to the aforementioned sub-par gun stats, the player of the IS-7 should use this tank in almost exclusively medium and short range brawler-type combat. Your teammates will rely on you to take and deflect the majority of incoming fire while they in turn support your advance and use their (hopefully) more accurate guns to assist in whittling down the enemy team. Expect to do some heavy lifting when driving the IS-7 and use it's key advantages to fight on your own terms and dictate the flow of the battle, improving your performance and probability of success.

World of Tanks AMX 50 Foch - 7 Kills 9K Damage

The AMX 50 Foch is a French tier 9 tank destroyer.

From the late 1940s to the early 1950s, France was developing heavy tank destroyers. This project was developed under the influence of German tank destroyers of WWII. The vehicle featured a 120-mm gun. At least one prototype was built, which took part in the military parade in Paris on July 14, 1950. Never saw mass production.

A progressive update of the AC Mle 46 and 48, the 50 Foch continues to follow the 'all-or-nothing' trend by focusing all its effective armor and firepower into a narrow frontal arc. It has thicker frontal armor than the AC 48, and is also rid of the useless anti-aircraft turret that the AC 48 is cursed with. The aim time of the 120 mm gun is also much improved with a somewhat higher rate of fire. Unfortunately, it still shares many of the same weaknesses that the AC 48 had, and the 120 mm gun is underwhelming at Tier 9, especially since many heavy tanks at that tier get similar guns. In general, the Foch has suffered from power-creep at the higher tiers, to the point where it can be considered the worst Tier 9 tank destroyer in the game.
